Pause for station identification

OU weekend was a blast, due largely to the fact that Texas actually won this year. I don't know if I could have taken another year of Sooner fans shouting "Texassuggs" in that horrible Dust Bowl slur. The funny/surreal thing was how humbled the fans were by finally losing. A bald guy who sorta looked like Perry Saturn came up and shook my hand during dinner. Oh, and I probably had, what, four drinks all weekend? It kinda bummed me out because I was missing out on some part of wild youth that I missed out on in the first place, but I just can't get up off the mat like I used to, and Saturday breakfast with The Lady's parents would have been pretty awkward if I had to keep getting up to air out my hangover ass-sweat. Always one sentence too much.

As for my other magnificent obsession... go Astros, yay and all that, but let me ask you this: Why is Ol' Groundball Viscaino pinch-hitting in the 9th and not Bagwell? Why is Pettitte pitching with a swollen knee when Oswalt has 3 days' rest and Backe is good to go? Oh Phil, I love you and all but don't make me resent you again after the Munro Game 6 incident. That would be unfortunate.
Game 2 tonight at Posse if anyone wants to join.

I'm almost up to 10 friends on Myspace, not counting Tom. I was totally joking - I thought I'd max out at maybe 4 on a good day. Thanks everybody I already talk to on a regular basis!

That's all I've got actually. Man, I kinda can't wait until baseball season is over so I can get back to watching movies again. Will Netflix ever forgive me for having Rules of the Game for almost 2 months already? Or do they see my 300-movie queue and realize they can afford to send their daughter to Vassar after all? I'll assume the latter.
